Takako Urakawa (trading as meguri; the “Developer”) provides this Privacy Policy for the iOS application “Hibi” (日々; the “App”).
Summary: The App collects no personal information. It performs no network communication, so nothing you record ever leaves your device. The Developer cannot access your data.
1. Personal information we collect
The App collects no personal information whatsoever — no name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers. No account registration or sign-in is required to use the App.
2. Data you record in the App
You may record the following data in the App:
- Activity records: date, start time, end time, notes, and the associated tag
- Expense records: date, amount, description, and the associated tag
- Tags: name, color, and usage setting
All of this is entered by you. The Developer does not obtain or collect any of it.
3. Where data is stored
Recorded data is stored only in local storage on your device (AsyncStorage). Nothing is stored on a server or in the cloud. The Developer has no means of accessing this data.
4. Transmission outside the device
The App performs no network communication. No information, including anything you record, is transmitted to any external server or third party.
5. Third parties, analytics, and advertising
- No information is shared with third parties (none is collected in the first place).
- The App contains no analytics, usage tracking, or crash-reporting services.
- The App contains no advertising and no advertising SDKs.
- There are no in-app purchases, and no payment information is handled.
- No cookies or similar tracking technologies are used.
6. How to delete your data
- Delete individual records: swipe a record left on the History screen to delete it. Tags can be deleted from the Tags screen.
- Delete everything: uninstalling the App removes all data stored on your device.
- Automatic deletion: activity and expense records older than 365 days are deleted automatically when the App starts. Tags are not subject to automatic deletion.
Because data exists only on your device, the Developer cannot restore deleted data.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is safe for users of any age. Because it collects no personal information and communicates with no external service, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians with questions may contact us using the details below.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in law or in the App’s functionality. Any updated version and its revision date will be published on this page. If a change materially affects how user information is handled, notice will be given alongside an App update.
